9wiket Sports – Bet on All Sports from Cricket & Football to Tennis & Badminton

Cricket Betting on 9wiket — Bangladesh's Most Popular Category

In Bangladesh, cricket is more than just a sport — it's passion, celebration, and a shared social experience. Whether it's the World Cup, the Asia Cup, or a Bangladesh-India series, the conversation is the same everywhere, from the neighbourhood tea stall to the office canteen. 9wiket— there's a chance to make that passion even more thrilling by betting on live matches.

9wiket's cricket betting section offers an exceptional variety of markets. Beyond the match winner, you'll find markets for runs scored in each over, who takes the next wicket, the toss result, total sixes, highest partnership, and hundreds more across a Test or ODI. T20s go even further — covering powerplay scores, death-over runs, and Player of the Match.

Football Betting — The World's Biggest Sports Betting Market

Football has the second-largest fanbase in Bangladesh, right behind cricket. European leagues — EPL, La Liga, Serie A — have a massive following here. 9wiket covers every match in these leagues. Markets include match winner (1X2), both teams to score (BTTS), total goals, first goalscorer, and correct score.

Accumulator betting on football is hugely popular at 9wiket. On weekends when several big matches are on at once, building a 5- or 7-match acca can push the odds up significantly. The risk is higher, but a small stake can return a big reward. 9wiket's accumulator builder tool makes it easy to put one together.

In-Play Betting — The Most Thrilling Experience

In-play or live betting means you can place bets even after a match has kicked off — making it far more exciting than pre-match betting, since you can read the flow of the game before deciding. Take football, for example: a team might dominate for 60 minutes yet still fail to score. At that point, their odds to win could actually be higher because the market expects a draw. That's exactly the kind of opportunity live betting can offer.

That said, in-play betting does require some caution. Odds move fast, and if you hesitate, they may shift before you confirm. On the 9wiket app, a small notification appears when live odds change so you always know by how much. You can also use the Cash Out option — lock in a portion of your profit mid-match if you feel the time is right.

Things to keep in mind for cricket betting

Pitch conditions play a huge role in cricket. A spin-friendly surface gives spinners a much better chance of success, while a green top tends to favour pace bowlers. Overcast conditions can also help pacers with swing bowling. 9wiket's match pages display this information at a glance. Checking head-to-head records also gives you a sense of which side has historically had the upper hand.

That said, always keep one thing in mind — cricket is unpredictable. Even the strongest side can lose on any given day. So no matter how well-researched your bet is, there are no guaranteed outcomes. Bet within your budget and enjoy the game.

E-Sports — The New Favourite for the Younger Generation

E-Sports is growing fast in Bangladesh. CS2, DOTA 2, League of Legends — these games draw millions of viewers at international tournaments. 9wiket's E-Sports betting section covers major events including ESL Pro League, The International, and Worlds Championship. Before betting on E-Sports, it helps to know the game — which teams have been performing well lately, which players are in form. Doing that analysis leads to better decisions.
